Interpersonal Intelligence
How you relate to the people around you determines much of what you achieve — and how you feel along the way.

The foundation of healthier relationships
Interpersonal intelligence is the ability to understand your own emotions and those of others, and to use that understanding to communicate better, resolve conflict and build healthy relationships. It's not an innate gift — it's a skill that can be developed.
Eticca develops this skill through two paths: the 5 pillars of emotional intelligence, the foundation of every healthy relationship, and practical application during moments of transition, such as career changes or family conflicts.
The 5 pillars of emotional intelligence
Emotional intelligence is made up of five fundamental dimensions. Understanding each one is the first step toward more conscious, balanced relationships.
1. Self-awareness
Recognizing your own emotions as they arise — understanding what you feel, why you feel it, and how it influences your thoughts and decisions.
2. Self-regulation
Managing your own emotions, especially under pressure or conflict. It doesn't mean suppressing what you feel, but choosing how to respond.
3. Motivation
Staying focused on goals that go beyond immediate rewards. Finding purpose and recovering more easily from setbacks.
4. Empathy
Perceiving and understanding the emotions of others. Empathy is the foundation of every genuine relationship and an essential ingredient for leadership, coexistence and care for others.
5. Social skills
Building and maintaining healthy relationships, communicating clearly, influencing positively, resolving conflict and working well in a team.
Developing these five pillars isn't about being perfect in your relationships — it's about being more conscious, more present and more human in each one of them.
Interpersonal intelligence in career transitions
Changing careers is one of the most challenging moments in an adult's life — it involves identity, fears, expectations and relationships, far beyond simply choosing a new field. This is where interpersonal intelligence comes in: it helps you understand what truly motivates you and communicate with more confidence in interviews, negotiations and new work environments.
At Eticca, this work is done in a personalized way, combining behavioral assessments, coaching sessions and the development of the emotional pillars most relevant to each person's moment.
What this process can reveal
- What your real strengths are — not just the ones you list on your résumé
- Which behavior patterns are sabotaging your opportunities
- How you communicate under pressure and how to improve it
- What kind of environment and professional culture fit your profile
- How to handle insecurity and fear of the new constructively
What participants say
“I was unhappy at work and wanted to quit to start a business. Through assessments, we identified what needed to be developed for the business to succeed. Another assessment revealed the situation that was bothering me — and once that was resolved, the environment improved. I decided not to quit, and a few months later I was promoted.”
How it works
The process begins with genuine listening — understanding who you are, where you stand and what you want to change. From there, we use behavioral and analytical assessments to precisely map your profile, identify patterns and build a personalized development plan. The work can happen individually (coaching), in a group (trainings and workshops), or in a combined format, depending on the context and goals.
Steps of the individual process
- 1Initial conversation to understand context and goals
- 2Behavioral profile assessments
- 3Feedback session and analysis of results
- 4Personalized development plan
- 5Follow-up sessions with concrete goals
